The Windows Special Interest Group (sig) of the Philadelphia Area Computer Society (PACS) discusses all aspects of Microsoft Windows and the applications that run on the Windows platform.

We meet in the Thunderbolt room at the Giant supermarket in Willow Grove. The meetings usually start off with a question and answer session and is followed by a specific topic discussion/presentation.

We invite all skill levels to come and join us.  If you have questions or if you have answers you are welcome.

Upcoming Meeting Topics - Windows 7 and Windows Live Essentials January 17th

We will be looking at the latest Windows 7 beta and the Windows Live Essentails.

We'll also have the normal Q&A session so bring your problems.

The PACS main meeting will be a presentation by Larry Depew on Computer Forensics.

Rob showed the Windows 7 pre-beta with some of the new interface turned on running on a Dell 910 netbook.

PhillyDotNet user group meeting

For those of you insterested in .NET, the PhillyDotNeht user group has it's January meeting on Wednesday the 21st  at Microsoft's Malvern Office. Go to www.phillydotnet.org for more details and to signup for the meeting.

Web Hosting

Although this site is hosted at my home, I use WebHost4Life for my professional sites and have been very pleased with it. It allows me to use .NET technology and have MS SQL databases.
